Main Purpose of Job

  • To setup sound Policy for Philippine branch to safeguard stakeholder interest.
  • Ensure Accounting standards, Audit, Tax and Statutory compliance.
  • Oversee company financing activity and risk (Hedging, Impairment, Credit control and Fraudulence) mitigation.
  • Support Business Operational activity with due diligent and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in financial analysis in areas such as forecasting, budgeting, cost reduction analysis.
  • Review monthly operational performance, sales margin and out of norm expenditure.
  • Maintain an effective Authorization Chart, work process flow and documentation system.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS & GAAP accounting standards, including company financial policies.
  • Manage site accounting team and processes including general ledger, costing, vendor payments, payroll, banking, taxes, monthly closing, reporting and audits.
  • Prompt reporting to Management on Receivable Aging, Cash position & Business Risk.
  • Ensure monthly reconciliation on Sales, Bank Balances, AR balances & Inventory.
  • Handling BIR such as VAT, Withholding Tax, and Quarterly Income Tax Return.
  • Managing SEC compliances such as General Information Sheet (GIS) and Annual Audited FS.
  • Prepare/assist on Corporate Tax submission.
  • Streamline Accounting work process.
  • Assist in formulating effective Internal Control and Credit Policy.
  • Fixed Asset Control and monitoring.
  • Profit margin analysis on all Sales and Project Billing issued.
  • Ensure accruals, provision and recorded timely.
  • Liaise with Tax Authority, bankers and legal consultant for professional advise.
  • Any other duties that are assigned within the course of work as part of professional growth.
