Maintenance Engineer Cum Pollution Control Officer

1. Plant Maintenance

  • Plan, execute, and monitor preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for all plant equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and utility systems to minimize production downtime.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, maintenance logs, and spare parts inventory.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to increase equipment reliability and energy efficiency.

2. Utilities & Facility Management

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of utilities (power, water, compressed air, HVAC etc).
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards during all maintenance activities

3. Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Functions (per DAO

  • Serve as the officially designated PCO and maintain accreditation as required by DENR.
  • Implement and recommend pollution prevention, waste minimization, and environmental compliance programs.
  • Act as liaison with DENR and LGU during inspections, audits, and conferences.

4. Continuous Improvement & EHS Compliance

  • Support ISO 14001 and OSH compliance programs.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for equipment or environmental issues.
  • Promote sustainability and energy conservation initiatives within the plant.

5. Production Support & Coordination

  • Work closely with the production team to address equipment-related issues promptly.
  • Provide technical support during production runs to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
