Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Schedule: 8 hours daily, Monday to Friday

Work Setup: Remote

We are seeking an experienced and professional Sales Development Representative (SDR) to represent a private equity principal in outreach to business owners across North America. The primary goal of this role is to identify potential acquisition opportunities, initiate conversations, and sWork Setup: Remoteecure meetings between business owners and the principal.

This is a unique opportunity for an SDR who is comfortable engaging in high-level, consultative discussions and understands the nuances of approaching business leaders about sensitive matters like acquisitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential businesses that align with acquisition criteria.
  • Conduct cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to business owners and key decision-makers.
  • Clearly communicate the principals interest in exploring acquisition opportunities in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Qualify prospects by gathering key business information (e.g., industry, size, ownership structure).
  • Schedule and confirm meetings between the private equity principal and interested business owners.
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, conversations, and follow-ups in CRM tools.
  • Provide feedback and insights to refine outreach strategy and messaging.
Qualifications
  • 3-4+ years of SDR/BDR experience with a proven track record in B2B outbound prospecting.
  • Background in financial services, private equity, venture capital, business brokerage, real estate investment, B2B SaaS, or high-ticket professional services is highly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to hold confident, professional conversations with business owners and executives.
  • Strong research and organizational skills to identify and track acquisition targets.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with CRM tools, email outreach platforms, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
