As an Accountant, you will manage financial data, reporting, compliance, and Australian accounting processes with accuracy and efficiency. You'll play a key role in ensuring precise financial operations, supporting management in decision-making, and maintaining compliance with international standards.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 1 to 5 years relevant experience
• Experience with Xero accounting software
• Able to work independently, proactive, and a self-starter (plug and play)
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Stable internet connection and suitable workspace at home
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• More education or experience may be preferred
• Special licenses or certifications may be required
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
• Understanding of mathematics and accounting and financial processes
• Ethical behavior
• Attention to detail

Need to Have:

• Experience in AU accounting environment

Your Daily Tasks

• Comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations
• Compile, analyze, and report financial data
• Create periodic reports such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements
• Present data to managers, investors, and other entities
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Perform audits and resolve discrepancies
• Compute taxes and stay updated on current finance legislation
• Assist management in decision-making through budgets and forecasts
• Handle basic AU accounting, including preparing tax returns, BAS, IAS, and work papers
• Manage bookkeeping and payroll processing
