Position: Part-Time Email Marketing Specialist

We manage multiple digital initiatives across different industries, including consumer-facing apps, influencer/creator services, and ROI-driven campaigns. We're looking for an Email Marketing Specialist who can plan, create, and optimize campaigns that drive engagement, nurture leads, and convert audiences..

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution
  • Plan and run email campaigns (newsletters, announcements, automated messages).
  • List Segmentation
  • Divide email lists into groups (new users, inactive users, paying clients, etc.) so messages are more relevant.
  • Automation & Technical Setup
  • Create automated flows (welcome series, reminders, referral pushes).
  • Ensure deliverability best practices (domain warming, DKIM/SPF setup, avoiding spam filters).
  • Integrate campaigns with other platforms (CRMs, apps, referral systems).
  • Content & Design
  • Write catchy subject lines & copy with clear CTAs ("Sign up now," "Book a call").
  • Use tools like Canva/Figma for visuals.
  • Reporting & Optimization
  • Track KPIs like open rates, CTR (click-through rate), conversions, and unsubscribes.
  • Run A/B tests (sending two versions to see which works better).
  • Present weekly insights and propose improvements.

Requirements

  • Technical Platforms: Hands-on with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or similar ESPs.
  • Automation Expertise: Proven experience setting up workflows and segmentation.
  • Copywriting & Design: Strong portfolio of engaging email campaigns.
  • Analytics: Ability to interpret metrics and optimize for conversions.
  • 2+ years' experience in email marketing (preferably both B2C and B2B).

Nice-to-Have

  • HubSpot or Mailchimp/ActiveCampaign certifications.
  • Familiarity with SMS + email integrated campaigns.
  • Basic design skills in Canva or Figma.
  • Experience in app-based products or influencer/creator economy.

KPIs (How We'll Measure Success)

  • Engagement Metrics: Open rates, click-through rates, unsubscribe rates.
  • Conversion Metrics: Sign-ups, purchases, or actions taken from emails.
  • List Health: Growth in subscribers, reduced bounce rates.

ROI: Email campaigns contributing to overall revenue/goal achievement.
