About the Role

Transpeed Communications is seeking a dedicated Medical Virtual Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. You will provide essential administrative support to our healthcare clients, ensuring smooth and efficient medical practice operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage and review patient charts within EHR/EMR systems
  • Transcribe and enter medical data accurately
  • Organize and file medical records in compliance with established protocols
  • Convert scanned documents (e.g., X-rays, lab results, diagnostics) into electronic records
  • Accurately summarize and document patient information in line with privacy regulations (e.g., PHI)
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments
  • Handle patient inquiries and correspondence
  • Assist with medical billing and coding tasks
  • Prepare reports and maintain organized file systems
  • Collaborate with medical staff to support a positive patient experience

What We're Looking For

  • Proven administrative experience in a medical or healthcare setting
  • Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and related software
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, records, and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of healthcare privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA or PHI)
  • A commitment to providing high-quality patient support
  • Amenable to work ONSITE
