Regional Sales Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferably a graduate of Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Management, Marketing, and Communications, Economics, BS Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related courses
- One (1) to Three (3) years of sales, marketing, & oil & lubricants industry experience.
- Highly analytical with good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills.
- Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
- Attention to detail, speed, efficiency, and teamwork skills.
- Punctual, organized, motivated and detail oriented.
- Proven sales experience; sector-specific sales experience is preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office and other similar software business applications, including social media applications.
- Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overall management, training, and guidance to the sales team of an assigned territory.
- Setting reasonable sales targets to be achieved by the sales team.
- Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Identify and open at least one distributor per quarter in the assigned area with the help of team members.
- Monitor the performance of Distributors through management-approved key performance indicators.
- Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
- Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management.
- Utilizing outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales.
- Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers.
- Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects.
- Responsible and accountable in ensuring that all parties, e.g. Purchasing Officer, SRs, contractor, and customers, who are involved in the trade improvement projects are properly coordinated and that the requirements of the project are satisfied.
- To identify, develop, and manage distributors' capabilities by training and managing the Distributor Sales Staff and conducting regular business reviews with the distributor
- To manage all aspects of the partnership agreements, ensuring our mutual compliance to the terms and principles of the agreement, including obtaining adequate security against credit risk in accordance with company policy. To manage all aspects of the distributor relationship, ensuring that:
- Pricing policies are implemented consistently, such that market pricing remains stable.Account and area coverage is developedFinancial health is maintainedPersonnel are developed according to the requirements of the company
- To provide Management with timely, accurate, and concise monthly reports in an agreed format focusing on results, remedies, and reinforcements.
- Monitor and manage the distributor/customer sell-in and sell-out processes, ensuring the appropriate inventory levels are maintained.
- Coordinate with the marketing department to ensure the effective implementation of marketing initiatives and promotions, including the deployment of equipment loans to the trade.
- Offering and managing after-sales support services (e.g. customer complaints etc.)
- Making technical presentations and demonstrations on how company products will meet client needs.
- Provide both pre- and post-sales technical assistance and product orientation.
- Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts on the adoption of best practices identified
- Provide training and produce support material for sales team members.
- Training Sales Representatives-to-be in all aspects of the business.
- To conduct periodic technical training to Distributors and their staff; Key accounts; mechanics and customers.
- To penetrate and open at least one distributor per month in the assigned area with the help of team members for one year.
- Maintain at the least an annual average of 50% of the sales target hit rate
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Immediate Superior or Management
