Your Role
As an AU Property Management Assistant, you are responsible for:
- Receive and verify tenancy applications and requirements.
- Communicate with applicants, references, tenants, and rental providers.
- Screen tenants in databases and create tenancy agreements.
- Follow up on arrears and issue breach or renewal notices.
- Schedule inspections, safety checks, and property viewings.
- Manage repair and maintenance requests; liaise with vendors and tradespeople.
- Maintain and update tenant and property databases; clean up duplicates.
- Prepare rental appraisals for manager approval.
- Upload rental listings and file documents in ShareFile.
- Coordinate daily with the property manager on completed tasks.
- Develop and refine process documentation.
- Request and manage digital signatures via Dropbox Sign.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years' experience as a Property Management Assistant (AU/NZ real estate).
- Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Palace, Bricks & Agents, Inspection Manager).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Process-driven, proactive, and adaptable to new software.
- Reliable, honest, and able to work independently or in a team.
- Capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines.
- Committed to long-term employment.
