Draftsman

We're looking for a meticulous and proactive Draftsman to join our growing team. In this role, you'll create detailed technical drawings for patios, carports, verandahs, and pergolas, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects meet quality and timeline expectations.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented drafting professional with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn project estimating.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed and accurate technical drawings for outdoor structures such as patios, carports, verandahs, and pergolas.
• Communicate daily with suppliers to coordinate project requirements and ensure timely material delivery.
• Collaborate with the drafting and installation teams to ensure project specifications are met.
• Assist in preparing project estimates and material take-offs (training provided).
• Maintain drawing accuracy, version control, and proper documentation.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field — or equivalent drafting experience.
• Proven experience in structural or construction drafting, with proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with both internal teams and external suppliers.
• Willingness to learn and adapt, particularly in cost estimation and material planning.
