Project Manager

ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive Project Manager to oversee and manage a variety of projects across different departments. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, manage resources, and coordinate efforts to achieve project goals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and has a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.

WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform the following project planning and initiation duties:
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and expectations
• Perform the following execution and monitoring duties:
• Lead project teams to execute project plans, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and adjust as needed to keep the project on track
• Identify and mitigate risks, addressing any issues that arise promptly to minimize impact on project delivery
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Perform the following resource management duties:
• Allocate resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring team members are fully utilized and projects are adequately staffed
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure the availability of resources and resolve conflicts in resource allocation
• Provide guidance and support to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Perform the following communication and reporting duties:
• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and issues
• Prepare and deliver detailed project reports, including progress reports, budget updates, and post-project evaluations
• Facilitate meetings with project teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals
• Perform the following quality assurance duties:
• Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and align with client expectations
• Implement and oversee quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
• Perform the following budget and financial management duties:
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are completed within the approved financial constraints
• Monitor project expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Provide accurate financial forecasts and reports to senior management
• Perform the following stakeholder management duties:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their continued engagement and satisfaction throughout the project

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• PMP or other relevant project management certifications
• 3-5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Experience in managing large-scale or complex projects
• Experience in managing projects within industry-specific experience, if relevant
• Proficient in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation
• Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance processes
• Experience in working with remote or distributed teams
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile and Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, and Trello)
• Proficiency in using project management software and collaboration tools
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to success
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced environment
