Project managers are essential for orchestrating, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of a project, ensuring efficient resource allocation, timely execution, and successful delivery while managing risks and stakeholders to achieve project objectives effectively.

Role Qualifications

  1. Must be an ECE Graduate
  2. At least 4 years of experience in telecommunications, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  3. Strong knowledge of telecommunication systems, network infrastructure, and technologies.
  4. Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  6. Experience in leading teams and working with stakeholders.
  7. Experience in creating project plans, allocating resources, and meeting deadlines.
  8. Certifications such as Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is an advantage.
  9. Candidates must be able to present several successfully completed projects.
  10. Must have excellent problem solving, strong judgment and decision-making abilities, presentation and leadership skills.
  11. Strong quality and customer service mindset.

Role Responsibilities

Deliverables

  • Manage and coordinate the resources and personnel required to complete telecom projects
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure project completion on schedule
  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure project requirements, expectations and goals are communicated and understood.
  • Identify and manage potential risks and issues associated with projects.
  • Track and manage project expenses and budgets.
  • Prepare and present project summaries and reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with project standards and legal requirements.
  • Provide leadership, motivate and mentor project teams.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide support to project teams.
  • Maintain and update of the project tracker.
  • Provide assistance and manage event activities.
  • Review and approve documents such as acceptance certificate, BOQ, and design.
  • Manage projects from start to finish and collaborate with other departments to ensure successful completion of projects.
  • Supports vendor on queries and clarifications regarding projects.
  • Coordinate and monitor projects progress with the vendor and report the project progress to interna and external clients from site survey up to completion.
  • Align and coordinate with other teams regarding details of the project, creation and release of PR/PO prior mobilization, and issuance of equipment
  • Coordinate with other team for the approval of necessary facility documents, availability of transmission solution and work orders.
  • Coordinate with other teams for the provision of CP/URL, on-airing, event support, and restoration of sites.
  • Prepare reports and other documentation.
  • Endorse sites for acceptance prior to the approval of acceptance documents.
