Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately post payments, adjustments, and denials from insurance companies and patients into the billing system.
  • Reconcile daily deposits and ensure all payments are properly allocated.
  • Research and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments.
  • Verify the accuracy of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and remittance advices.
  • Communicate with billing teams and insurance providers to resolve posting discrepancies.
  • Maintain detailed and organized payment records for auditing and reporting purposes.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to cash posting.
  • Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain the confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in cash posting within a U.S. healthcare setting (RCM, medical billing, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of medical billing processes, insurance remittances, and payment posting workflows.
  • Familiarity with billing software and practice management systems is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs) and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
  • Knowledge of denial management and insurance follow-up processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php27, Php33,000.00 per month
