Job description:
We are looking for an Associate Community & Social Media Manager to engage with ZAM's global clientele to develop and execute effective social media and community marketing strategies and campaigns across various social media platforms including: Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Discord, Tik Tok and more. As a primary resource for our clients across the globe, the candidate must be fl uent in English, and able to read/write copy to reach our Gen Z / Millennial audience. The ideal candidate will be a passionate gamer that routinely follows social media trends with experience managing content and engaging with players on all major and emerging platforms.

As our Associate Community & Social Media Manager, youu0027ll be responsible for carrying the brand voice of our clients and connecting with their fans through your passion and expertise in their products and games. Youu0027ll be challenged with creating social posts and events that resonate with diverse audiences and regularly reviewing data to analyze and optimize social performance.

What you'll be doing:
. Social Media Marketing
Collaborate with ZAM's Los Angeles headquarters and creative teams to create, curate and publish compelling content for our global clientele.
Provide accurate project tracking for clients and internal stakeholders, effectively communicating updates, risks and roadblocks.
Build and execute content strategies and publishing calendars for our clients.
Foster engagement on clients platforms with creative copy and content ideas that appeal to their playerbase.
Support and maintain a content publishing calendar with consistently high quality and cadence.
Syndicate and distribute content across all of the relevant social media channels.
Develop a consistent brand voice across multiple platforms and projects.
. Community Marketing
Review community conversation and provide sentiment analysis
Create weekly reports with key metrics and actionable insights.
Concept and execute events (e.g. UGC drives) to engage and grow online communities.
Provide community conversation monitoring and moderation
Build and optimize community platforms from the ground up including Discord (especially Discord), X, Reddit, Facebook Groups and more.
Manage and recruit volunteer community managers / mods across multiple platforms.

Monitor trends and platform changes.
Work with other internal departments including marketing and creative services to complete projects with a high level of quality.
Help develop and improve ZAMu0027s global social media and community marketing strategy.

SOFTWARE SKILLS

Experience and Skills Needed:
. BA or BS from an accreditied university or equivalent experience in the gaming industry.
years of experience managing multiple social channels for a game, brand, or agency preferably in the gaming space.
. English fluency.
. Familiarity with global gaming markets and gaming trends.
. A passion for gaming and social media, especially PC and Mobile games.
. Strong communication ability to work with teams and clients across the globe.
. Proven ability to engage and create conversations with communities in the gaming space.
. Familiarity with paid performance marketing on social media networks.
. Experienced with social media publishing and analytics tools. (eg. Buffer, Socialbakers, Sproutsocial etc.)
