The Accounts Receivable (AR) Associate is responsible for managing customer billings, monitoring collections, and ensuring timely posting and reconciliation of payments. The role supports cash flow by maintaining accurate receivables records and resolving discrepancies with internal teams or clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices based on sales or service records.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Record and apply customer payments (bank transfers, checks) in the accounting system.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies or short payments.
  • Coordinate with operations team to resolve billing issues.
  • Generate AR reports and assist in month-end close activities.
  • Support audit requirements by providing necessary AR schedules and supporting documents.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide statements or billing clarifications as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or a related field is a plus
  • Fresh grads are welcome to apply
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and receivables processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) is a plus
  • Amenable with 1 year project based employment
