The Accounts Receivable Associate ensures accurate, timely, and efficient management of the Company's receivables by processing invoices, monitoring payments, following up on overdue accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role supports the Company's cash flow and customers relationship objectives by minimizing outstanding receivables and providing relevant and reliable reports to Management.

Responsibilities:

Billing Preparation and Processing

  • Generate and issue invoices accurately and on schedule.
  • Verify supporting documents for billing to ensure completeness and compliance with contracts and Company policies.

Accounts Monitoring

  • Ensure receivables or billings are received by the customers according to the agreed terms.
  • Proactively follow up on overdue accounts and escalate unresolved issues to the Accounting Manager.

Reconciliation and Reporting

  • Reconcile accounts receivable records with the general ledger.
  • Prepare and submit regular aging reports for management review.

Customer Service

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries regarding invoices and payment status.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with Operations and Sales teams.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date AR files and records.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., BIR laws).

Support to Financial Reporting Closing and Audit Process

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Coordinate with ISO auditors and external auditors, as required.
