Work setup: We operate in a hybrid work environment, and we encourage applicants who are open to working in the office two days a week to apply.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 3PM to 11PM Manila time, overlaps with UK operating hours

Employment type: Fixed Term (1 year)

Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

Pay range: We value transparency and want to ensure a good fit for both parties. We encourage applicants who are comfortable within the salary range of Php 102,000 to 140,000 to apply.

We are looking for a dedicated Technical Product Owner for a fixed term of 12 months to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping and delivering technology solutions that support our global assessment operations.

What will you do as a Technical Product Owner?

Reporting to the Delivery Lead, your accountabilities will include:

• Own the product backlog and define user stories
• Collaborate with development and UX teams to deliver intuitive and scalable solutions
• Support testing, incident resolution, and agile coaching
• Contribute to large-scale projects by ensuring comprehensive reporting, KPI tracking, and effective data communication
• Influence product vision and roadmaps aligned with strategic goals
• Ensure applications deliver real value to users

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

An ideal candidate has the following qualities:

Essential:

• Proven experience in product ownership, business analysis, or project management in a tech-driven environment
• Skilled in Agile and Scrum practices, including backlog management and user story creation
• Strong collaboration with developers, UX designers, and testers to deliver quality solutions
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Familiar with AWS, cloud applications, and emerging AI tools; quick to learn new systems

Desirable:

• Exposure to exam board processes or assessment technologies
• Appreciation of cross-time zone collaboration
• Basic Python experience (particularly with the pandas and PySpark libraries)
• Knowledge of using Hue, Hadoop
