We are recruiting a Software Quality Assurance Engineer for our team in Manila, Philippines. Reporting to the local QA Engineer Lead, we are looking for someone to play key role in the team driving our efforts in quality assurance. The right candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, eager to learn, and passionate about taking ownership of their contribution to the product.
 

Job Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a ProductOwneror similar rolein technology

• Ability to write clear, testable user stories and technical acceptance criteria

• Excellent understanding of Agilemethodologyand principles

• Excellent communication skills with ability to bridge technical and business conversations
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and stakeholders
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Knowledge of softwareapplicationdevelopmentlifecycle and processes
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Comfortable working across time zones with distributed teams

About the Role
 

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to join our Technology department in Manila, focusing on internal platforms that empower our engineering teams and business operations. In this role, you will own the technical backlog for critical internal systems, drive technical excellence, and ensure our internal platforms enable productivity, automation, and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the Technical Product Manager in Manila, you will work closely with engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver robust internal tools and systems that support our operations.  

Key responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the technical backlog for internal platforms (developer tools, operational systems, business enablement tools)
• Define technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for internal systems with appropriate technical depth
• Collaborate with engineering teams to refine the technical backlog, ensure stories are ready for development, and unblock technical challenges
• Provide technical direction and clarification to engineering teams during sprints
• Communicate technical progress, risks, and dependencies to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Present technical roadmaps and architecture decisions to senior leadership
• Manage expectations and negotiate scope with stakeholders while maintaining technical integrity
• Work with business data, research, operations, and other departments to understand operational needs
• Translate business and operational requirements into technical platform capabilities
• Drive platform adoption through effective communication, documentation, and training
• Gather feedback from internal users and iterate on platform features

Job Benefits

This role is a full-time, hybrid position that requires regular office attendance (3x per week). This position is based in our Makati City office.
