I. JOB SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Supervisor oversees the end-to-end procurement, inventory, and logistics operations supporting construction projects. The role ensures timely sourcing, delivery, and monitoring of materials and supplies, while maintaining cost efficiency, vendor reliability, and compliance with company and client requirements.


II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Procurement & Sourcing

  1. Supervise the purchasing process for materials, tools, and equipment required for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  2. Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate terms, and recommend the most cost-effective options based on quality and delivery timelines.
  3. Maintain an updated list of accredited suppliers and vendors.
  4. Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and approved budget parameters.

B. Inventory & Warehouse Management

  1. Oversee inventory control processes, including stock monitoring, issuance, and replenishment of construction materials.
  2. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy between physical and system records.
  3. Coordinate with site personnel for proper material allocation, movement, and documentation.

C. Logistics Coordination

  1. Plan and monitor the efficient movement of materials, supplies, and equipment to and from project sites.
  2. Coordinate with drivers and logistics staff for dispatch, delivery, and tracking.
  3. Ensure proper documentation and timely updating of delivery reports, gate passes, and material receipts.

D. Reporting & Compliance

  1. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on material usage, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
  2. Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company standards and client specifications.
  3. Implement continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain efficiency and cost management.

E. Leadership & Coordination

  1. Supervise and mentor supply chain staff, including warehouse personnel and procurement assistants.
  2. Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineering, and Finance for project material requirements and budget control.
  3. Lead departmental meetings to align targets, address bottlenecks, and review performance metrics.
