The Area Manager (Café Operations) is responsible for overseeing the operational performance, service quality, and profitability of multiple Café Aivee branches. The role ensures each café delivers consistent brand standards, exceptional guest experiences, and operational efficiency. The Area Manager provides leadership, guidance, and strategic direction to café teams to achieve business goals and uphold Café premium brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management

  • Supervise daily café operations across assigned branches to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct regular branch visits to evaluate store performance, cleanliness, and adherence to service and food safety protocols.
  • Implement operational strategies and best practices to drive service quality and profitability.
  • Monitor inventory, purchasing, and cost control measures to minimize wastage and ensure optimal resource use.

People Leadership

  • Lead and support Café Supervisors in meeting sales, service, and performance targets.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to promote professional growth and accountability.
  • Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, and training to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, customer focus, and operational excellence.

Customer Experience & Brand Standards

  • Ensure all branches deliver a consistent and premium Café experience.
  • Review guest feedback and coordinate corrective actions to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Uphold the café's ambiance, cleanliness, and service etiquette aligned with brand standards.

Financial Performance

  • Analyze sales reports, identify trends, and develop strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Manage budgets, control expenses, and monitor financial performance per branch.
  • Collaborate with marketing and management on promotional initiatives and product launches.

Compliance & Safety

  • Enforce compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and labor regulations.
  • Uphold Café Aivee's brand identity through consistent quality, visual standards, and service excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of
    5 years of experience
    in multi-unit restaurant or café operations, including
    2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and operational reporting.
  • Willing to travel across assigned branches and work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays when required.
  • Willing to work 6 days a week
    and travel to various branches as needed.
