Key responsibilities of a 3PL Supervisor include:
- Vendor Management:
Overseeing the 3PL's performance, ensuring they meet KPIs related to accuracy, timeliness, and cost-efficiency.
- Process Management:
Monitoring the order fulfillment process within the 3PL team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of deliverables and reports
- Issue Resolution:
Addressing and troubleshooting any errors, process or report delays, or any issue within the 3PL process or issues with technology and/or people.
- Performance Reporting and Coaching:
Monitoring, preparing and reviewing reports on 3PL operations and staff performance, providing coaching feedback and suggesting corrective actions.
- Process Improvement:
Identifying and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the 3PL's processes.
- Compliance & Standards:
Ensuring the 3PL adheres to company policies, legal requirements, and customer service expectations.
- Communication:
Excellent
communication skills both verbal and written. Maintaining clear and consistent communication with the 3PL provider and internal teams.
- Training:
Able to identify training opportunities and deliver training to individuals as skills and knowledge enhancement to tenured staff as well as new hire trainings.
- Inspections:
Conducting routine inspections of 3PL processes to identify areas for improvement and compliance to SOPs and policies.
- Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft office (excel, word, power point) and other reporting systems such as power BI.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree: in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, customs, or a related field.
- Experience in logistics and supply chain operations (in a BPO setting is a huge advantage.)
- Handled a minimum of 15 FTE.
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferences:
- Knowledge of 3PL operations and best practices.
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge/experience with EDI cargo wise is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
Work Setup, Location, and Schedule:
- Willing to work onsite in
Ortigas, Pasig - Willing to work the
night shift
in Ortigas with
weekends off
