Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Development Specialist with a strong background in renewable energy to support the development of utility-scale and/or distributed energy projects primarily solar from concept through to financial close. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in permitting processes, government agency coordination, and regulatory documentation, as well as experience in land acquisition, stakeholder engagement, and overall project feasibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support permitting activities, including securing environmental, regulatory, and construction-related approvals from relevant government agencies.

  • Act as the main liaison with local and national government units to ensure timely and compliant processing of documentation and approvals.

  • Support land acquisition efforts through landowner outreach, lease negotiations, and agreement execution.

  • Coordinate with third-party consultants and legal teams on permitting and compliance documentation.

  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, feasibility studies, and investment memorandums.

  • Maintain detailed project documentation, permitting records, and development tracking systems.

  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, policy changes, and emerging market opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in renewable energy project development, preferably in solar, wind, or battery storage sectors.

  • Specialized experience in permitting processes and dealing with government agencies for regulatory compliance and documentation.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to manage external stakeholders and government entities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and GIS/mapping tools (e.g., Google Earth, ArcGIS).

  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites and meetings as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month
