Job Summary:

The F&B / Restaurant Consultant will provide strategic and operational expertise to improve restaurant performance, efficiency, profitability, and overall customer satisfaction. The role involves developing operational standards, refining menu and service quality, guiding cost management, and ensuring alignment with the company's brand identity and business goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight
  • Review and analyze restaurant operations and recommend improvements in workflow, service efficiency, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for front and back-of-house operations.
  • Conduct regular operational audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Menu and Product Development
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and Operations Team in menu planning, costing, and food quality assurance.
  • Ensure menu offerings meet customer expectations, brand positioning, and profitability goals.
  • Financial and Cost Control
  • Monitor and evaluate food, beverage, and labor costs, recommending strategies for cost efficiency.
  • Review supplier pricing, purchasing, and inventory management to minimize wastage and maximize profitability.
  • Team Development and Training
  • Coach and mentor restaurant managers and staff on operational excellence, service quality, and customer engagement.
  • Conduct training sessions to align the team with updated service and kitchen procedures.
  • Brand and Customer Experience
  • Maintain and enhance the brand's identity through consistent service and food quality standards.
  • Analyze customer feedback and suggest improvements in service delivery.
  • Business Development
  • Provide management insights and recommendations for sales growth, marketing promotions, and expansion plans.
  • Assist management in developing long-term strategies to sustain and improve business performance.
  • Administrative and Strategic Support
  • Prepare periodic reports and presentations for management decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Operations Director or CEO.
