Job Summary:
The Village Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of a horizontal residential community (Village) in Talamban, Cebu. This includes overseeing security, maintenance, facilities, staff, finances, and compliance with relevant regulations and association policies. The goal is to ensure the community remains clean, secure, and harmonious, while maintaining property value and resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:1. Operations & Facilities Management
- Supervise all aspects of village operations including cleanliness, landscaping, road maintenance, drainage, and other infrastructure.
- Coordinate regular inspections and ensure proper upkeep of common areas and amenities (e.g., clubhouse, parks, pool, etc.).
- Manage contractors and service providers (e.g., janitorial, landscaping, pest control, etc.).
2. Security & Safety
- Supervise security personnel and ensure 24/7 security coverage.
- Implement and enforce village safety protocols, traffic rules, and emergency procedures.
- Respond to incidents and coordinate with local authorities when necessary.
3. Financial Management
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget.
- Oversee the collection of homeowners' association (HOA) dues and other fees.
- Work with the accountant or finance officer to track expenses, generate financial reports, and ensure accountability.
4. Administrative & Governance
- Implement HOA board policies and decisions.
- Maintain records of meetings, correspondence, contracts, and resident files.
- Coordinate and attend board and general membership meetings; prepare reports as needed.
5. Resident Relations
- Serve as the main point of contact for residents regarding concerns, requests, and complaints.
- Promote a positive community atmosphere and mediate disputes when needed.
- Ensure that residents are informed of announcements, policies, and community events.
6. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local government regulations, permits, and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with barangay and city offices when needed for permits, reports, or community issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Property Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- At least 2-3 years of experience in property or village management, preferably in a residential subdivision.
- Knowledge of Philippine property laws, HOA regulations, and basic accounting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and basic reporting tools.
- Preferably residing in or near Cebu City.
