Inventory Assistant

An Inventory Assistant is responsible for managing inventory and storage of items. S/He prepares requests and ensures item availability and the quantity needed, when needed. S/He performs picking, packing, and put-away of items / supplies. S/he ensures the quality and proper handling of all items/supplies.
S/He ensures the proper implementation of the principles and processes related to his/her function in alignment with the Medical Mall, local regulatory and international practice guidelines/standards.
S/he performs accurate and timely documentation, escalates/ relays concerns to his/her immediate superior and coordinates with the applicable concerned persons / department in the conduct of his/her duty.
Qualifications
- Has completed at least two (2) years of college education OR a senior high school graduate. May be a graduate of a four-year course with a degree in supply management or a business-related course, an advantage.
- With at least 2 years of related experience; follows general instructions or procedures to accomplish tasks. Also, in stockroom or storeroom, and inventory management.
- Can work flexible hours (different shifts) with minimum supervision.
- Must be keen on details, with an aptitude for counting and inventory management.
- Physically fit for bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
- Has an exceptionally good sense of customer service.
- Must be knowledgeable on the basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication skills. Proficiency in the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog is required; ability to communicate in English is an advantage.
