Job Summary:

The Utility Staff plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and proper maintenance of the company's premises and facilities. This position supports day-to-day operations by performing general cleaning, basic maintenance, and other assigned tasks to help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of offices, work areas, restrooms, pantry, and other facilities.
  • Conduct regular cleaning and upkeep of furniture, floors, windows, and company equipment.
  • Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal in accordance with company and environmental standards.
  • Assist in setting up, arranging, or relocating office furniture, equipment, and materials as required.
  • Perform minor maintenance and repair tasks (e.g., replacing light bulbs, fixing basic facility concerns).
  • Support logistical needs such as delivering documents, office supplies, or other materials between departments.
  • Coordinate with the Administrative or Maintenance Department for facility-related concerns.
  • Adhere to the company's safety, hygiene, and housekeeping policies at all times.
  • Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • At least High School graduate; Vocational or Technical background is an advantage.
  • With prior experience as a Utility Staff, Janitor, or similar position preferred.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
  • Highly responsible, trustworthy, and dependable.
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • With good interpersonal skills and a positive work attitude.
