Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, or related field
  • Continuing professional development in taxation or financial management is an advantage

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in the hardware, construction supply, or distribution industry
  • With 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role

Core Competencies:

  1. Financial Management

  2. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

  3. Strong understanding of cash flow, receivables, and payables management

  4. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

  5. Sound knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR regulations

  6. Ensures timely submission of all statutory reports and tax payments (VAT, withholding tax, income tax, etc.)

  7. Internal Controls & Audit Readiness

  8. Can establish and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

  9. Leadership & Communication

  10. Strong people management skills and experience in leading an accounting team

  11. Capable of clear reporting to senior management and collaboration with other departments
  12. High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
