JOB SUMMARY:

The Claims Manager is responsible for overseeing the claims process, ensuring timely and accurate assessment, processing, and resolution of claims in compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in the Philippines. This role involves managing a team of claims professionals, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Claims Management:

Oversee the end-to-end claims process, including assessment, investigation, documentation, and resolution. Ens ure claims are processed accurately and within agreed timelines. Review complex or high-value claims and provide guidance on resolution strategies.


• Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure claims handling complies with local laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on relevant Philippine insurance and claims regulations. Identify and mitigate risks associated with claims processing.


• Customer Service:Maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.


• Process Improvement:Analyze claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations.


• Reporting and Documentation:Prepare regular reports on claims performance, trends, and key metrics. Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all claim's activities. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.


• Organization requirements:Works and collaborates with other members of the organization in an efficient manner. Observe the management's guidelines and directives.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in claims management, preferably in the insurance or healthcare industry.

• Strong knowledge of Philippine insurance laws, regulations, and claims processes.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software.

• With good moral character and high level of professionalism and integrity."
