About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical assistance and troubleshooting for end users, clients, and internal teams. The role involves diagnosing hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring timely resolution, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to technical support requests via email, chat, or ticketing system.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across multiple environments.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and related IT infrastructure.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues for knowledge base improvement.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to higher-tier engineers or development teams when necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective issue resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues or risks.
  • Assist in user onboarding, account management, and access control.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–2 years of experience in technical support or IT operations.
  • Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and/or Linux environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
