With at least two (2) years of experience in estimation, costing, budgeting, and contract administration

With in-depth knowledge of standard contract forms and legal principles affecting construction contracts

Familiar with project scheduling software (i.e., Primavera P6, MS Project)DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Contract Development and Negotiation1.1 Receives and reviews Project Request for Subcontractor (PRFS) forwarded by the contract officer, checks all attachments, and validates the required date based on the agreed Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC).1.2 Prepares all necessary documents required for requesting proposals, such as estimates for the bill of quantities or construction plans and specifications.1.3 Prepares the draft contract after approval of the evaluation by the PBAC/Department head.1.4 Forwards the bid package evaluations to the contract officer for review and comments.1.5 Assesses and reviews the type of contract to be used to mitigate potential commercial risks that may expose the company to financial loss.1.6 Prepares the subcontract agreement after approval of the draft contract and routes it to the authorized/signatories.1.7 Monitors the weekly report of all trade awards to ensure no delays.1.8 Maintains and updates subcontract agreements to reflect the latest changes. Contract Execution2.1 Prepares and routes the approved contract to all authorized signatories.2.2 Ensures all contracts comply with signing authority procedures and that signatories are authorized.2.3 Maintains master copies of audit-ready contracts and files.2.4 Attends project meetings to address contractual issues.2.5 Monitors contract performance to ensure obligations, milestones, and deadlines are met.2.6 Supports dispute resolution, claims management, and contract termination when needed. Risk Management3.1 Evaluates contractual documents, specifications, and tender proposals to identify risks.3.2 Assesses risks related to cost, legal obligations, compliance, and technical challenges.

Subcontractor/Suppliers Relations4.1 Acts as liaison between subcontractors/suppliers and internal teams to ensure contract adherence.4.2 Gathers and analyzes feedback to improve services and contract terms.4.3 Documents all interactions to protect both parties. Compliance and Standards5.1 Keeps records of legislative and standards changes affecting contracts and projects.5.2 Verifies that all contract specifications and materials meet standards and best practices.

Financial Oversights6.1 Tracks expenses and financial performance against budgets.6.2 Conducts variance analysis for cost discrepancies.6.3 Maintains records of financial transactions and expenses. Collaboration with Project Teams7.1 Coordinates with architects and project sites for plan issuance and variances.7.2 Ensures timely award of bid packages.7.3 Coordinates with the Cost Management group for budget verification. Research and Development8.1 Prepares costing for materials and innovations.8.2 Assists R&D in aligning innovation with business goals.8.3 Participates in monthly meetings with R&D.Continuous Improvement9.1 Identifies opportunities for process and system improvements.9.2 Explores new tools and technologies for contract management.
