Job Summary

The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, government regulations, and internal policies. The role involves preparing financial reports, analyzing data for decision-making, and providing strategic support to management to ensure the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Ensure timely filing of government-mandated reports (BIR, SEC, LGU, etc.).
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax functions.
  • Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to support business strategies.
  • Liaise with external auditors, government agencies, and financial institutions as necessary.
  • Provide recommendations to management on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and financial efficiency.
  • Supervise and guide accounting staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial operations.
  • Stay updated with current financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and taxation.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
