About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team in our Quezon City office. As a CPA at Emperador Distillers, Inc. (EDI), you will play a crucial role in our financial accounting and reporting function, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This is a full-time position that will contribute to the strategic objectives of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic decision-making
  3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies and procedures
  4. Assist in the implementation of financial systems and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business operations
  6. Participate in special projects and initiatives as required

What we're looking for

  1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
  2. Recent board passers are welcome to apply
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations
  4. Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
