What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
  • Ensuring accurate and compliant financial record-keeping and reporting in accordance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Providing financial advice and recommendations to support business decision-making
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
  • Mentoring and supporting more junior members of the accounting team

What we're looking for

  • A recognised Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within the banking or financial services industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accurate and compliant financial records
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges
