  • Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Maintain general ledger and ensure proper recording of all financial transactions.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with BIR and other government requirements.
  • Conduct regular financial audits and reconcile accounts as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor budgets and assist in financial forecasting and planning.
  • Provide recommendations for cost reduction and profit improvement.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies as required.
  • Support management with financial data analysis and decision-making reports.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards, taxation laws, and relevant financial regulations.
  • Record and reconcile all accounting transactions including sales, purchases, inventory movements, and operating expenses.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collection and payment.
  • Manage and review monthly and year-end closing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a distribution, healthcare, or trading company.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine taxation, and BIR compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting software.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong integrity, analytical mindset, and commitment to accuracy.
