Group Leader – Painting Process

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the painting team in the injection production line.
  • Oversee surface preparation, primer application, painting, and curing of injection-molded parts.
  • Monitor paint quality, adhesion, color accuracy, and overall finish.
  • Ensure proper operation, calibration, and maintenance of painting equipment (spray guns, booths, curing ovens, etc.).
  • Check paint mixtures, viscosity, and application techniques to match specifications.
  • Implement and maintain 5S and safety practices in the painting area.
  • Train and guide team members in painting techniques, defect prevention, and quality standards.
  • Inspect finished products for defects such as uneven coating, runs, or contamination, and take corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with quality control and production departments to meet output and quality targets.
  • Maintain inventory of paints, solvents, and consumables.

Qualifications:

  • With proven experience in the painting process of injection-molded products (plastic parts).
  • Knowledge of spray painting techniques, surface preparation, and curing processes.
  • Familiarity with paint types, mixing ratios, and application methods.
  • Ability to detect and troubleshoot painting defects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in painting and chemical handling.
  • At least high school graduate or vocational course in a related field.
