  • Conducts spray painting and powder coating for products.
  • Conducts proper mixing of paint and proper setting of powder coating gun/ machine.
  • Conducts & records daily maintenance activity based on checklist.
  • Inspects pre-painting processes are properly done before painting. (sandblasted, sanded & cleaned)

Checks that there is no sharp edge before painting/ powder coating.

  • Ensure that items are painted/ powder coated within 30 minutes after it was sandblasted.
  • Ensures proper grounding during powder coating.
  • Completes daily workload as instructed by In-Charge/ or Leader/ or SV
  • Conducts daily updating of usage and inventory for paints, thinner, powder and other consumables. Coordinates preparation of RTP when necessary.
  • Properly stores paints, powder coat and other chemicals.
  • Complies to all company and departmental policies and memos. Follows proper and on-time filing of leave. Observe proper wearing of uniform and PPEs & complies with 5S, safety & ISO standards.
  • Properly fills out "Kanban" or Prodn Routing Sheet. Consistently conducts proper reporting in VISION.
  • Attends scheduled training and other company sponsored activities.
  • Immediately reports to production heads any abnormal condition.

Qualifications:

  • Education: For entry level, must be graduate of any technical or engineering course or NC Certification from Technical School. Must have high numerical aptitude.
  • Experience: Equivalent years of experience in Sheetmetal Manufacturing.
  • Can interpret drawings to identify processes, tools & equipment and materials to be used.
  • With strong sense of responsibility, maturity & professionalism
  • Self-disciplined and can easily follow instructions.
  • Dynamic, flexible and eager to learn new skills
