About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Officer to join our team at Benson Industrial Cold Storage Inc. This full-time position is based in Paranaque City Metro Manila and will play a vital role in the company's financial operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial statements
  • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, including invoicing, payment processing and reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts and other financial reporting
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies and procedures
  • Provide support to the finance team and collaborate with other departments as needed

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar financial accounting and reporting role, preferably within the industrial or logistics sectors
  • Proficient in financial record-keeping, data analysis and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems
  • Familiarity with local accounting regulations and standards
