We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager who will spearhead sourcing and talent acquisition for top-tier seafarers, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain strong client relationships. This is your chance to lead a high-impact recruitment team in the maritime industry.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Talent Acquisition Management
· Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified seafaring candidates.
· Utilize diverse sourcing channels: job portals, social media, industry events, and referrals.
· Build and maintain a strong network of potential seafarers.
· Screen, interview, and assess candidates for qualifications and suitability.
· Conduct background checks and reference verifications.
Compliance & Documentation
· Ensure compliance with Philippines and international maritime regulations (STCW, MLC).
· Verify and maintain valid seafarer documents and certifications.
· Stay updated on labor law and regulation changes affecting seafarers.
Crewing Operations Collaboration
· Work closely with crewing operations to understand crewing needs.
· Match candidates to vessels based on qualifications and preferences.
Reporting & Analysis
· Prepare and analyze recruitment performance reports.
· Identify process improvement opportunities.
· Recommend strategies to optimize sourcing.
Team Management
· Lead, mentor, and support the recruitment team to achieve departmental goals.
· Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to ensure efficiency.
· Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Preferably a graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Communication, or a related field.
· Proven experience in Recruitment management, preferably in the maritime industry.
· Strong understanding of STCW, MLC, and relevant labor regulations.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and networking skills.
· Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
· Knowledge of social media management is an advantage
· Skilled in using Canva and creating professional presentations
· Proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace, including advanced features such as PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros, Track Changes, and linking applications (e.g., Excel to PowerPoint).
