The Solar Site Engineer ensures the efficient execution and supervision of solar installations, managing on-site coordination and technical oversight for on-grid, hybrid, and off-grid solar projects. This role focuses on maintaining high safety standards, quality workmanship, and seamless integration of solar solutions from planning to completion.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Oversee site assessments to evaluate topography, shading, and environmental factors, providing input to optimize system designs based on on-site conditions.
  • Supervise solar installations, ensuring alignment with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations while collaborating with contractors and construction teams.
  • Serve as an on-site technical expert, resolving engineering challenges during construction and coordinating with design engineers for necessary modifications.
  • Implement quality control measures, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with safety protocols to maintain a secure and high-quality installation environment.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, provide progress updates, mitigate delays, and interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and alignment with project goals.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (ME/EE/ECE) or related field. Preferably licensed in the respective field.
  • At least one year of experience in the same capability
  • Proven experience in solar project construction and site engineering.
  • Familiarity with solar technologies, PV systems, and relevant electrical components.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, site supervision, and safety protocols.
