Collection Operations Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Initiates programs that will best arrest customers who regularly issue or with cases of multiple issuance of dishonored checks.
  • Implements programs that will contribute to corporate targets; formulation of process flow and guidelines on Write-Off; metrics to monitor AR on per MRU level; and, other tools which aim to aid the Business Areas in hitting collection targets.
  • Manages dishonored/returned checks and AR posting to customer accounts.
  • Facilitates monthly preparation of accrual and billing of Payment Facilities' Transaction Fees and assesses versus Department's budget.
  • Manages the preparation of collection report on a weekly basis and coordinates with the Business Areas for updates.
  • Manages technical matters on collection and regularly coordinates with other departments for any system enhancement and upgrade.
  • Provides support and assistance to service area requirements.
  • Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Management, Finance, or any of its equivalent
  • Must have 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Must have strong verbal, written and group communication skills
  • Must be attentive to details, flexible and innovative
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications and online platforms
