Overview:

The
Junior Billing Specialist
will support the billing and invoicing process to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of client accounts. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop financial operations experience and work closely with global teams to support smooth billing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Preparation:
    Assist in preparing and issuing client invoices based on agreed terms and service details.
  • Data Validation:
    Check billing data against records and reports to ensure accuracy before submission.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Coordinate with Finance, Delivery, and Account Management teams to help resolve billing discrepancies.
  • System Maintenance:
    Update and maintain accurate billing information in ERP or billing systems (e.g., SAP, ProTracker).
  • Compliance Support:
    Ensure billing activities follow internal policies, tax regulations, and audit standards.
  • Reporting Assistance:
    Help generate billing summaries, reports, and updates for internal stakeholders.
  • Process Support:
    Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline billing operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable processes.
  • Experience or familiarity with ERP or financial systems (e.g., SAP, ProTracker) is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to work with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Eagerness to learn, adaptable to change, and able to work under deadlines.
  • Willing to work Australian hours and flexible to shifting schedules.
