We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented R&D and Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for driving the development of new products, processes, and improvements while ensuring that all products meet the required quality and regulatory standards.

Job Description

Research & Development (R&D)

  • Plan, design, and execute research projects for new product development, formulation improvements, and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Marketing, Procurement) to conceptualize and prototype new products.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor products to identify innovation opportunities.
  • Documenting of all R&D processes, results, and findings for internal use and regulatory compliance.

Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance protocols, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and quality checks on raw materials, work-in process products, and finished goods.
  • Manage and updating quality documentation, including process flow, work instruction, product specification, quality manual. Ensure that all process and product comply with the internal standard and safety requirement.
  • Know to answer CAPA and to prevent it from happening.
  • Provide training and support to production teams on quality procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technologist, Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in R&D, Quality Assurance, or a similar role in FMCG or Food Industries.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. GMP, HACCP, FDA, etc.).
  • Proficient in product testing and data analysis
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
