Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy/ BS Management Accounting/BS Accounting Technology
  • Must have a minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Deep understanding of accounting and assurance concepts

Skills:

  • Manage accounting staff assigned to the day-to-day operations and ensure on-time and quality preparation and completion of various accounting reports and tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and good written & oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Excel and Outlook.
  • Robust logical and reasoning skills.
  • Interest in business and commerciality.
  • Team player, able to multi-task, flexible, and can work under pressure.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and proactively implementing new processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly reporting to the finance manager
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial spreadsheets, systems, databases, books of accounts, and general ledger
  • Analyze accounts and prepare balance sheets
  • Track and reconcile bank statements
  • Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs)
  • Check processed tax payments
  • Support monthly payroll and keep organized records
  • Check records of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Support and monitor the processing of invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
  • Provide administrative support during budget preparation
  • Participate in quarterly and annual audits
  • Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with government regulations
  • Identify the financial risk of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk.
  • Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved
  • Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability
  • Assess the efficiency and productivity of accounting staff and make recommendations for improvement
  • Present analysis to upper management in the form of reports and presentations
