Job Overview:

The Category Associate is responsible for supporting the overall management of assigned product categories. This role involves demand planning, inventory monitoring, pricing updates, and sales tracking to ensure product availability and competitiveness in the market. The Category Associate works closely with supply chain, customer service, and sales teams to drive operational efficiency and category growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning: Forecast product demand by analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and sales data to ensure accurate and timely projections.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with the supply chain team to maintain optimal stock levels. Monitor inventory performance, track demand fluctuations, and develop strategies to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Order Monitoring: Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to review and track daily incoming orders, ensuring smooth order processing and fulfillment.
  • Demand Strategy: Develop and implement demand strategies based on consumer trends and purchasing patterns to drive sales and improve inventory turnover.
  • Sales Fulfillment and Tracking: Monitor monthly sales performance, identify stagnant accounts or slow-moving items, and conduct proactive follow-ups to facilitate stock movement.
  • Pricing Management: Regularly review and update product pricing to remain competitive in the market while aligning with company profitability goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or any related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or category management. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php19, Php24,000.00 per month
