Responsibilities

· Financial Accounting and Reporting

· Specialize in financial statement closing process for group and local reporting purposes, including preparation/processing of journal entries, financial and management reports.

· Provide timely and value-adding financial information required by management, external auditors, and various government regulatory bodies.

· Deliver standard reports including schedules and reports to IC, SEC, and the Financial Controls Team.

· Monthly Reconciliation Functions

· Prepare reconciliation packages to ensure compliance with Accounts Reconciliation Standards.

· Monitor and resolve reconciling items to ensure account balances are reasonably stated.

· Coordinate with different business units to resolve outstanding reconciling items.

· Identify control issues and areas for improvement within the reconciliation function.

Other Responsibilities

· Handle financial statement preparation and other SEC reporting requirements.

· Prepare Quarterly Reports, Annual Statements, and other reports to IC.

· Manage other regulatory requirements (LGU, BSP, etc.).

· Ensure regulatory reports are filed and/or paid on or before the due date.

· Internal Controls and Internal Audit

· Document processes and procedures related to financial accounting and reporting.

· Review and update guidelines, processes, and procedures for improvements.

· Prepare audit requirements for internal auditors.

· Support Company Initiatives

· Participate in systems implementation and enhancements, automation initiatives, and key projects.

· Support Finance initiatives and priorities.

· Administrative Functions

· Organize and maintain filing/monitoring of documents submitted to IC and SEC (hard and scanned copies).

· Manage inquiries from internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulators.

· Handle Finance and other management requirements.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy

· CPA designation or equivalent

· Experience in Accounts Reconciliation

· Corporate accounting or public practice experience (preferably Big 4 firm) and/or financial statement preparation for a financial institution

· Experience in process improvements and automation is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
