JRA360 is a fast-growing digital marketing agency dedicated to helping junk removal and dumpster rental businesses scale to $1M+ in revenue. We are seeking a highly skilled Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Strategist with strong expertise in Local SEO and Google Business Profile (GBP) management. This role is essential in driving organic visibility, local rankings, and lead growth for our clients.

Position Overview:

The SEO Strategist will lead the development and execution of organic growth strategies across both traditional SEO and Local SEO/GBP optimization. This position requires advanced knowledge of ranking strategies, content optimization, keyword research, citation building, and GBP listing management. You will report directly to our SEO Director and support strategic decision-making across the agency.

This is a high-impact role for someone who understands both broad SEO strategy and GBP-specific ranking factors, with the ability to analyze performance data, identify opportunities, and implement solutions that drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic rankings, traffic, and conversions.
  • Manage and optimize 40–50+ Google Business Profiles, including setup, verification, posting, and suspension recovery.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and on-page optimization.
  • Create and schedule GBP posts and respond to reviews.
  • Monitor SEO and GBP performance metrics and adjust strategies based on insights.
  • Manage NAP consistency and citation-building campaigns.
  • Use tools like SEMrush and Local Viking for research, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and occasionally communicate with clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on SEO and GBP experience, including both traditional SEO and local SEO.
  • Proven track record of improving keyword rankings, organic traffic, and lead generation.
  • Strong expertise in managing and optimizing GBP listings at scale.
  • Demonstrated success in resolving GBP suspensions.
  • Experience with Local Viking (or similar tools) and SEMrush (or equivalent platforms).
  • Strong content optimization and GBP content creation skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a digital marketing agency.
  • Familiarity with industries such as junk removal or home services.
  • Background in managing GBP listings for clients in multiple geographic areas.
