Greenpoint is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounting Analystto join our growing financial team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our outsourced client work. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting.

About the Job

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Ph20,000.00/month (gross)

Responsibilities

  • Recording receipts, payments, and receivables, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
  • Enter financial transactions into the accounting system, maintaining accurate records.
  • Preparation and recording of payroll.
  • Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Review of account reconciliations including research and analysis on reconciling items.
  • Data investigation, reporting, and analysis as needed including recommendations for process improvement
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare and file the client's monthly tax returns for the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Participate in company-provided training modules designed to enhance accounting and finance skills.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Management Accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity in Accounting software (Xero) is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting field.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift; 3 days onsite, 2 days work from home

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary
  • Commission pay
