One (1) Technical Staff for International Mobility – SG 10 (Under Contract of Service; To be assigned at the External Affairs Office, BatStateU – Central Administration)

Education: Graduate of Foreign Relations, Communication/Development Communication, Information Technology, Business or any related course. Masteral units is an advantage.

Experience: Has a working experience developing and managing organization programs and activities; organizing and facilitating office events; and preparing technical reports, proposals, and documents related to linkages or education related matters.

Competencies:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Report writing skills (writing, editing and researching);
• Digital skills for infographics and videos, technical writing, leadership and management skills.

Salary Grade 10: 174.45/hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Director of External Affairs on issues, guidelines and policies concerning international affairs;
• Develop internationalization – related initiatives for local and international clients;
• Assist the Director in managing multiple projects during the same time frame while paying attention to details;
• Assist the Director in organizing and facilitating meetings, events, activities, making arrangements for special requests by local and international clients, and attending other concerns that may arise from these;
• Monitor and update status of international linkage, interpersonal membership, and international students;
• Find a university for a collaborative partnership for Inbound and Outbound Academic Mobility;
• Do intensive research, write proposals, reports, articles, and concepts that will support the internationalization initiatives of External Affairs;
• Assist the Director in the implementation of PAPs in relation to the Global Local (G2L) Community Engagements and Local to Global (L2G) Service Learning;
• Develop PAPs to institutionalize Internationalization by International student integration programs;
• Review international travel documents of officials based on the rightful process for the University Board of Regents approval;
• Assist the secretariat for world University rankings data gathering and submission;
• Monitor the activities of world ranking bodies and communicate with the Director regarding the update;
• Coordinate with constituent campuses regarding the international activities/events and do the necessary documentation and monitoring
• Assist the External Affairs in creating materials in line with international activities;
• Do proper document controlling for faster access of files, receive and directs phone calls to designated persons;
• Perform other tasks as maybe required by the immediate supervisor.
