One (1) Computer Programmer III – SG 17 (Under Contract of Service; To be assigned at the Center for Artificial Intelligence and Smart Technologies – Learning Enhancement and Optimizing using Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics Solution (LEONIDAS) Center, BatStateU – Central Administration

Education: At least a Bachelor's Degree in Information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree related to the work can be plus.

Experience

  • Full Stack Developer - At least 3 years of experience in building full stack applications. Has a strong background in data-driven development.
  • AI and Data Engineer - At least 3 years of experience in building AI and data-driven applications.

Competencies:

  • Front-end Skills: React JS, Next JS, TailwindCSS, , Figma, and UI/UX
  • Back-end Skills: Django. PostgreSQL, Server Management and Optimization, and Laravel and Filament
  • OCR System Development Skills: Open-Source OCR libraries (e.g., Tesseract, EasyOCR, OCRopus), Image preprocessing techniques (binarization, thresholding, denoising deskewing), and Character segmentation, text line detection, and layout analysis.
  • Has a strong background in data-driven development.
  • Worked with various development teams · Worked in a scrum and/or agile environment
  • Shipped industry-scale products

Salary Grade 17 – (56,696.40/month)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop software applications for frontend and backend development of the Faculty Module for the Learning Enhancement and Optimization using Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics Solutions (LEONIDAS) Project.
  • Serve as the AI Developer (Frontend and Backend) o Establish the frontend and backend for the student module.
  • Develop the frontend based on the user/product owner requirements. o Develop the backend that works and scales together with the other modules o Perform necessary tests.
  • Deployment of the application.
  • Conduct extensive testing to validate the accuracy of recommendations.
  • Communicate with the project team and stakeholders.
  • Develop the module for:

 ILO Creation and SO Mapping

 CIS Creation and Management

 Import Course Information

 Gradebook

  • Integrate Generative AI Model:

 Analyze educational data using the AI model.

 Generate personalized, actionable teaching and learning strategies for teachers

 Development of Dashboard

 Develop REST APIs
