We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategically minded
User Research Specialist
to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing end-to-end research initiatives that inform product and design decisions across the organization. You will apply a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to uncover user behaviors, motivations, and pain points, turning insights into actionable strategies that enhance user experience and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive user research plans using mixed-method approaches, including interviews, focus groups, diary studies, usability testing, surveys, and behavioral data analysis.
  • Deeply understand user needs, pain points, motivations, and usage contexts to deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Translate research findings into impactful deliverables such as insights reports, personas, customer journey maps, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including product management, design, data science, and operations—to influence product direction and feature development.
  • Build and maintain research roadmaps aligned with strategic priorities; develop and manage reusable research tools, templates, and method libraries.
  • Contribute to A/B testing and experimentation efforts, helping assess the impact of UX changes on user behavior and satisfaction.
  • Ensure all research activities adhere to ethical guidelines, legal regulations, and data privacy standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience conducting user research in a professional setting, ideally within a digital product environment.
  • Strong command of a wide range of research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and storytelling skills with a demonstrated ability to present insights clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of experimentation design and tools (e.g., A/B testing platforms).
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and research ethics.
