As a Medical Receptionist (Remote), you will be the first point of contact for patients seeking mental health support, playing a key role in their healthcare journey. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a supportive team of professionals in a fully remote setting.


Job Highlights

Monthly Rate: Php 40,000-50,000

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EDT (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Client Timezone: Eastern Time (EDT)

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and depend on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities
  • Register and manage patients in the Charm EMR platform with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Handle incoming and outgoing patient calls using the Spruce voice phone system
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and appointment management
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding psychiatry-specific inquiries and procedures
  • Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality standards
  • Support daily office operations and administrative workflows
  • Provide compassionate and professional customer service to patients and their families
  • Assist with insurance verification and patient intake processes

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a medical receptionist
  • Proficiency with Charm EMR for patient registration and management
  • Experience using Spruce voice phone system for patient communications
  • Strong communication skills and a professional phone manner
  • Ability to work effectively in a HIPAA-compliant remote environment
  • Comfort handling mental health-related conversations and sensitive patient information
  • Bonus if you have experience working in a psychiatry or behavioral health office
  • It helps if you are familiar with insurance verification processes
